asendorpf & friends is a competence network of organizational consultants around the psychologist and coach Dr. Jonas Asendorpf with headquarters in Leipzig. Since 2008 he has been accompanying developments in companies, SMEs and public institutions and is available to personalities as a sparring partner for the Next Step in individual coaching. Together with selected colleagues from the friends network he develops organizations, teams and personalities – authentically to the next level.

Dr. Jonas Asendorpf grew up in four different German states and was thus able to experience the chance in change, to see it as a challenge and an opportunity for growth. He also looked for this during his studies of psychology in Freiburg and Leipzig through longer stays abroad. Thus he researched influences on the relationship quality of managers and employees in Ghanaian banks and trained psychosocial consultants in the conflict region Kashmir in India.
After training as a systemic supervisor and systemic coach and the well-founded strategy training “Next Step” at OSB international and two years of management experience as a department head of a consulting firm, he now accompanies and advises companies, SMEs, the public sector in the development of managers, employees and teams through coaching and training, as well as in strategy, cultural and organizational development processes. The father of two has made his love of development and discovery his profession and is passionate about making development processes goal-oriented, performant, healthy and authentic.
Since 2010 he has been a lecturer for personality psychology, diagnostics and psychological methodological competence at the University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management in Leipzig. In 2020 the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna awarded him the academic title Dr. phil. after research on the psychology of artistic production and the invention of the new.
